My "Oh Crap" Moment
So, this morning, I woke up looking forward to a yummy bowl of Raisin Nut Bran. I walked to the kitchen, poured myself a bowl (anticipating the wonderful taste of those sugar coated raisins and tasty almonds), opened the FRIDGE, pulled the milk out and what did I find? THE MILK WAS FROZEN SOLID!!! "Oh crap!" I thought to myself. What a disappointment. So what do I eat for breakfast now? Muffins? Nope. Those require milk. Graham crackers? Nope. Can't eat those without at least a glass of milk. Pancakes? Nope. Still not quite the same without a nice cold (not FROZEN!) glass of milk!! Aargh! So, completely disappointed, I settled for a piece of wheat toast and a glass of orange juice. Bummer. Definitely not as satisfying. The result: my yummy bowl of Raisin Nut Bran is currently sitting on the counter, waiting to be eaten when the milk unthaws. I guess we don't quite have all the kinks worked out of living in this apartment. All I have to say is that if I wake up tomorrow and the milk is frozen again, there's going to be trouble! This pregnant lady can't function in the morning without her darn bowl of cereal! Hope you all enjoyed yours this morning!

That does stink. I did enjoy my bowl of freshly made granola!
Nothing is worse than having your mind set for some particular food--that you then can't have because of a missing ingredient--except when your pregnant and have your mind set on some particular food... :) I'm sure you won't forget the milk next time you go to the store! :) Happy cereal eating!
That is hilarious! I am sorry to hear that though. I hate frozen milk and I must say that I have never seen a gallon of milk frozen all the way through. Ha ha.
Maybe you should turn down the fridge?! :)
haha that is funny but stinky! i totally know the "oh crap" feeling! i had mine the other night when i wanted to go to panera so bad and then gordon called jordan and asked what time they closed .... yup ... "oh crap!" wendy's doesn't quite match up to panera!
Hey now!! Don't knock my wheat toast and orange juice ok!! Hehe just kidding!! I hate when I have my heart set on something, and then Kade or Lacey ate the last of the "whatever" and Im really ticked!! So I know how you feel. Hows it going out there?? It sounds like things are good:) Let us know.
