Destination: Austin, TX!!
We found out that this summer we will be making the move to the great Lone Star State. This is a first for us. We have yet to live in Texas so I'm sure it will be an adventure as always. At first I was pretty psyched that it would be a few states closer from destinations of past summers but after a geography review found that it will still be a 22 hour drive. :( Looking on the bright side, we will be only 1 hour and 20 min away from John and Nancy who will be in San Antonio! That's about as good as it gets without actually being in the same office!! If only we could move the state of Texas closer to Phili without increasing the driving time...
On another note, my true dread for the summer comes from trying to figure out how to travel 22 hours in the car with a 7-month-old and keep my sanity. I truly am having nightmares already. Any ideas?

Congrats on finding out where you'll be this summer! That's cool you are going to Texas! We'll have to get together while you are there, since we'll be in San Antonio. There's lots of fun stuff to do in TX.
Drugs. (Just kidding.) I'm bummed but excited you and Nancy will be so close.
Okay, so here's a real idea: buy a DVD player for your car and show him Baby Einstein videos. He will probably be old enough by then to be entertained for a few of those 22 hours.
I'm so sad you guys are leaving, but Texas sounds like a pretty cool place to go.
It probably won't be as bad as you think it will be with the babe. The only pain I can remember about traveling with babies is the nursing issue. If you're not nursing then it really should be a breeze.
Good luck with that! That's cool that you guys are going to Texas. I hope that maybe we can come visit you. That's cool that you guys are going to be close to the Drury's.
